CLAN MACFARLANE 46TH ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING AND WORLD GATHERING 2019

We are pleased to announce the Clan MacFarlane 46th Annual General Meeting and World Gatheringto be held August 7-9 in Arrochar, Scotland. The AGM will be followed by a historical tour that runs until August 17. We are including an itinerary below.

We are looking forward to returning to our ancestral lands in Scotland and meeting our clan members from around the globe. We have already confirmed that several of our members from Scotland and Europe will be attending. For those that will be visiting Scotland for the first time, it will be a trip of a lifetime!  For which we hope it will be the first of several trips to our native homeland. For those who have traveled to Scotland before, welcome back and we look forward to traveling with you on this special journey. We will be seeing many historic sites including destinations in the MacFarlane homelands that tourists do not usually get to see sites such as the MacFarlane Islands in Loch Lomond.

You are cordially invited to attend the Clan MacFarlane 46th Annual General Meeting and Gathering to be held August 7-9 in Arrochar, Scotland followed by an historical tour lasting until August 17. We are including an itinerary below.

Deadline for reservations March 30, 2019 accompanied by 25% deposit. Balance due June 15, 2019.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
Day 1 Settle in and explore the heritage around Arrochar
day 2 Tour around Loch Lomond – Luss – Balloch – Balmaha (Boat Trip from Balloch ) then return for the 46th Annual Clan MacFarlane Formal Banquet and Gala at Village Inn.
Day 3 Visit Inveruglas Island, AGM on Island I Vow Casual Pub Night Dinner and Scottish Entertainment at Slanj Loch Lomond
Day 4 Travel to Stirling Castle, Bannockburn, The Kelpies to Glasgow check in Hotel
Day 5 Day trip to Oban
Day 6 Leave Glasgow – Travel to Melrose Abbey. Rosslyn Chapel then check into Edinburgh hotel.
Day 7 Linlithgow Palace – Blackness Castle day tour
Day 8 Walking Tour of Edinburgh City and Edinburgh Castle
Day 9 Free Day or Optional tour to Loch Ness or spirit of Scotland show
Day 10  Glasgow Free Day or optional Tours
Day 11 Airport Transfer
